Feral Child Yorkshire

Quilts / Martha's Quilt

Patchwork quilt in bright printed cottons, including butterflies, strawberries and a white horse, folded on the seat of a wooden chair

Commission

Martha's Quilt

Commissioned by a mum in Otley for her daughter's eighteenth birthday. She brought a bag of outgrown clothes from the first ten years: the butterfly dress, the strawberry pyjamas, the pillowcase with the white horse. We cut around the best bits and pieced them into strips, so every block is something Martha wore or slept on.

This quilt was made to commission. We can make something similar for you.
